Traditionally, Accounts and Property teams have seldom worked to the same goal. Often, this is simply down to a lack of access to information, and little understanding as to what both parties are trying to achieve.

By bringing all the information relating to your property maintenance into Emergense, you can keep both sides happy. Accounts can be given specific access to reports - which they can download at any time - which reduces administrative hassle for everyone, and means that the right person is accessing the right information at the right time. 

At the same time, Property (or those working for them, if outsourced) have an easier task in ensuring that all jobs are allocated to your nominated budget codes, thanks to context-sensitive, menu-driven screens that make their job easier.

As jobs are only approved for payment once they've been through a rigorous V&A (verify and allocate) process, this means that the accruals files generated by Emergense are very accurate. 

We can also vary the timelines for accruals information, e.g. 60 days for 'jobs timed out', or helpdesk accruals can look at last 100 days, quotes for the last year - so really old jobs can be dropped from the system - either as they're not going to get done or chances are they're not going to be paid for.
