Could businesses using facilities management benefit from mentors?

UK businesses using facilities management cost reduction processes could be among those interested in recent comments regarding business mentors.
Tim Campbell, chief executive officer of the Bright Ideas Trust, has said many firms could avoid falling into to certain traps if they had a mentor to call on.
"There needs to be mentors for small businesses so that people can avoid the same pitfalls or making the same mistakes as businesses before," the expert commented.
"Most small companies are happy to be one-man or two-man bands because that is the lifestyle they've chosen, but for those companies that do want to grow there has to be the finance in place and knowledge to support them."
Mr Campbell was recently appointed as a training ambassador by the mayor of London Boris Johnson.
The expert, who won the first series of the BBC's The Apprentice, has been tasked with getting people back into work in the capital.
