Firms using facilities management could be attracted to new seminar

June 25th 16:20 Cost Management

A number of businesses currently benefitting from facilities management cost reductions could be attracted to a new seminar aimed at helping businesses grow.

Frontier Technology and Microsoft are set to host the event later this month, in a bid to show firms a number of "innovative and cost-effective ways" of enhancing their operations.

The seminar will focus on disaster recovery, compliance issues, cutting costs and providing business continuity.

Attendees will also be given the chance to see the latest Microsoft products designed to aid business continuity and disaster recovery.

Organisers of the event explained: "Julian Datta, virtualisation and management advisor from Microsoft, will … highlight the capabilities of a number of Microsoft data-centre technologies that are often overlooked, or under-utilised in favour of costly competitive offerings.

"Delegates will clearly understand why it is often favourable to consider deploying the Microsoft offering they have already paid for, instead of assuming that expensive third party products will provide a better overall service."
