Could popular contract data system prove attractive to firms using facilities management?

June 18th 16:09 Cost Management

Businesses that are using facilities management as way of reducing their operating costs could be among those to be interested in a software solution that is sweeping the healthcare sector.

Healthlogics, hybris and Tier 2 Consulting have announced that a number of hospitals have recently adopted the HL-hybris e-catalogue and contract data system, taking the total number of NHS trusts using the solution to 15.

Bedford Hospital, Derby Hospitals, Guy's and St Thomas', Heatherwood and Wexham Park and St George's Healthcare have all recently announced implementation of the programme.

Moira Crabtree, interim assistant director of finance and procurement at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust, explained: "Our primary reason for the selection of HL-hybris was its ability to give us visibility of contract prices, references and validity dates in our Agresso purchasing system.

"We are confident that the system and its data will achieve this and result in significant savings through an encouragement of the entire contract process and the level of contract compliance that we require."ADNFCR-2717-ID-19846698-ADNFCR
