Could e-mail 'tsunami' inspire use of facilities management?

April 29th 14:56 Cost Management

UK businesses that are using facilities management as a way to reduce costs could also benefit from increased employee productivity with the launch of a new software solution.

Web and e-mail filtering specialist Bloxx has announced the launch of its new Bloxx E-mail Filter, which it said is the market's first product which actively identifies personal and business correspondence.

The product enters the market following a report by the University of Glasgow, which revealed that 76 per cent of workers admit to sending personal e-mails every day while at work.

Eamonn Doyle, Bloxx's chief executive officer, said: "Organisations are drowning under a tsunami of e-mail and now desperately need a way to ensure that non-business emails are identified and managed effectively.

"The Bloxx Email Filter not only provides outstanding levels of protection against spam and malware, but builds on this to provide businesses with a way to ensure that personal emails are managed appropriately."
