Firm launches pay as you go business applications

Businesses in the UK, that are looking to reduce their IT spend, could be among those to benefit from the launch of a new pay as you go service.
On Demand, a new product from It firm adept4, will allow companies to access business applications as and when they need to.
Paul Talbot, CTO at adept4, said the product could save businesses thousands of pounds on licensing fees.
"On Demand IT is ideal for businesses that are looking to evaluate software applications before purchase, or are utilising contract or temporary resources," he said.
"It's also ideal for seasonal organisations who need to match demands, and SMEs or businesses who want to scale their software on demand and control costs; the service can also be used as part of an effective business continuity or disaster recovery programme."
Mr Talbot added that companies who use the pay as you go service will also benefit from not having to upgrade their systems or pay for software support services.
